Can be easiliy combined with a walk through the city center.

Art History Museum

A Palace of Art. The private collection of the Habsburgs. Tizian, Breughel, Rubens, Dürer, you name them - all here and much more. Plus a cabinet of curiosities with the world's fanciest salt jar, an abundance of magical objects and scientific instruments. Everything made with the most stunning craftmanship.

Imperial Treasury

Crowns, insignia, a fist sized emerald, millenia-old regalia of the Holy Roman Empire, the crib of little Napoleon. Pure royal history.

World Museum

Another palace of art. The 3-in-1 museum in the Imperial palace. A great modern presentation of the ethnological collection, a collection of musical intruments, and so much armor they could outfit the next crusade.

Mozart house

Walk through the rooms Mozart called his home 235 years ago. His original apartment. A great place to learn about Mozarts life and music.

Belvedere

Vienna 1900, Klimt's Kiss and much more. Collection of Austrian art from the medieval to the 20th century. Situated in the beautiful garden palace of Prince Eugen. Comes with a free world culture heritage view over Vienna.

Sisi Museum and Imperial Apartments

A museum dedicated to the "Lady Di of Austria". Make up your own mind about the tragic empress and then visit the original rooms where Franz-Josef and his beloved Elisabeth lived (If she happened to be in Vienna...).

Freud Museum

Visit the original apartment where Sigmund Freud invented psychoanalysis and learn a lot about his live. Fair warning: very little of the original furniture is there. Still worth it.

The largest Schiele collection worldwide, Vienna 1900, Art and Craft by the Wiener Werkstätte and more. Collection of Rudolf Leopold in the trendy Museums Quarter.

Schönbrunn

The original baroque summer palace of Maria Theresia, surrounded by 400 acres of garden. Spectactularly sumptuous original rooms.

Imperial Crypt

I see dead people! More precisely 149 dead Habsburgs, among them 11 emperors. Magnificent baroque sarcophagi next to the "metal box" of Josef II. Fascinating and a bit spooky. A great place to learn more about the Habsburg familiy.
